Moroccan food has taken its rightful place among the world’s most celebrated cuisines. On our tours, you will not only experience world-famous homemade couscous and the ubiquitous (and mouthwateringly delicious) roadside tajine, you’ll be plunged into a sensory experience like no other.

Enjoy a gastronomic exploration from the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts deep into the Sahara. The greatest Moroccan cooking is prepared in the home. As often as possible, we’ll be ducking behind the curtains and into the hearts and homes of locals making some of the most delicious traditional Moroccan cuisines, including some of the following:

  • Head down to the pier to find the freshest catch of the day to have it grilled, Moroccan style, for lunch.

  • Get your hands buttery while learning all about the secret of Moroccan couscous from a real Moroccan dada (personal chef)

  • Enjoy an exclusive lunch at a private residence where a smorgasbord of Moroccan street food will be specially prepared, pared with unbeatable views

  • Take part in the family tradition of rfissa in the High Atlas Mountains in the rustic dwelling of a local family

  • Bite into a burger made of rich camel and caramelized onions, but leave room for a local treat…

For our culinary travellers, we mix staying in the cities alongside a few stays near the terroir of particular villages known for their incredible examples of Moroccan cuisine. Because of the seasonality of many fruits, vegetables, and spices, we work to best customize around the predicated seasons. In the cities, we value privately-owned riads and dars with great chefs, while in the country, we look toward an authentic experience nearest to the heart of the local agriculture.
